House of Cards Season 3 May Be Last Season If Netflix Do Not Deviate From The Original Source Material For The American Adaptation Of The British Political Drama
Netflix' House of Cards Season 3, all 13 hours of the entire season, may air by February or early next year according to an estimate made byEnstarz. Once ready, House of Cards Season 3 can also be watched online in its entirety. Shooting for the show's third season has alreadystarted in June, and for the third consecutive time, the House of Cards episodes got to be filmed in locations within Maryland, including at the offices of the Baltimore Sun which serves as setting for the fictional 'Washington Herald' featured prominently in the show. The producers of the Netflix original series previously famously threatened to move production elsewhere unless they get the same tax incentives that they enjoyed during the previous two seasons. Fortunately, a compromise deal with the state was settled and production resumed.
Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood, Robin Wright as his wife Claire, Mahershala Ali, Sebastian Arcelus, Kristen Connolly, Nathan Darrow, Michel Gil, Sakina Jeffrey, Gerald McRaney, Molly Parker, Corey Stoll, Constance Zimmer, Jayne Atkinson, Gil Birmingham, Reg Cathey,Derek Cecil, Kathleen Chalfant, Terry Chen, Curtis Cook, Ben Daniels, Joanna Going, Jeremy Holm, Sandrine Holt, Kevin Kilner, Mozhan Malno, Benito Martinez, Boris MacGiver, Lance Nichols, Elizabeth Norment, Samuel Page, Larry Pine, Al Sapienza, Kate Lyn Sheil, Jimmi Simpson, Libby Woodbridge, Dan Ziskie, and Reed Birney will be seen back next season. According to TVLine, Jenna Stern and Kim Dickens have also been added to the cast. The two members of the Russian feminist punk rock protest group Pussy Riot who were indicted and jailed for 'hooliganism motivated by religious hatred' for a staged performance inside Moscow's Cathedral of Christ the Savior will be also seen in Season 3 of House of Cards.
Netflix's House of Cards is an adaptation of a BBC mini-series of the same name which concluded after three seasons upon the death of Frank Underwood's counterpart in the UK storyline. However, according to one of 17 House of Cards Season 3 spoilers divulged by Latin Times, "Unlike the original British series, the American adaptation may not end after the third season. In an interview, co-executive producer Rick Cleveland divulged that as long as lead actors Spacey and Wright -- who play Frank and Claire Underwood, respectively -- agree to continue reprising their roles, then Netflix will continue the series."
