'Halo 5: Guardians' Release Date: Agent Locke As The New Lead Character Replacing Master Chief
Shooting game enthusiasts are going to be a must have video game that they can add on their wish list for 2015 because the best and greatest first-person shooter game in the history, "Halo 5: Guardians" is set to launch this 2015.
343 Industries, the developer of the Halo franchise, is yet to release the fifth installment. However, according to Christian Post, the latest installment is still in progress and has no specific data for the release.
Even though "Halo 5" has no exact date for its release, 343 Industries brought some good news that will definitely make the players happy. The head of the 343 Industries, Bonnie Ross, declared that the beta version of "Halo 5: Guardians" will be available in this coming December. He also added that the sequel is reported to arrive in the fourth quarter of 2015. However, before the end of this year, avid followers of Halo will have the opportunity to test the game this coming Christmas season.
According to Cross Map, it's a mechanism for the developer of the game to solicit feedbacks from the players of the Guardians through making a beta version and also launching the fifth installment sooner than the expected release date. 343 Industries is said to ensure that they are developing multi-player, which would thrill the fans of the game.
In the fifth installment of the "Halo" franchise, Master Chief will not be the main character. But, Master Chief can still be played and have a vital role in the latest game edition. Microsoft said an interview that Master Chief will remain as an essential part of the story of the game and as one of the playable characters. It was also announced that Master Chief will be replaced by Agent Locke.
Based on Ecumenical News, "Halo 5: Guardians" is expected to hit the market in Fall 2015, yet the beta is confirmed to be released on Dec. 29 exclusively for Xbox One.
The beta version will be available for the players who unlock the exclusive content in "The Master Chief Collection and Nightfall," which can be carried over to the fifth installment of "Halo."
