2014 has been a year of anticipated gadget releases but the best part is that they are still not over. Microsoft has brought a great surprise for the fans with their new Windows operated Fitness Tracker smart watch gadget. It has been reported from Microsoft that the new device will be announced within few weeks and will be released in the upcoming holiday session.
The recent tech releases have included fitness trackers in numerous devices. Leading manufacturers are emphasizing more on health apps and fitness programs in gadgets. So, without further delay Microsoft also targets the recent trend of fitness tracking system. The Company has vowed to provide a proper fitness tracker device that will come handy for maintaining fitness.
According to Forbes, the wearable from Microsoft will have the capability to track the heart rate passively. The devices will connect with smartphones from different platform. The device will have internal heart rate monitor that will allow checking the heart beat rates while moving or remaining stationary. Similar type of feature was introduced previously on Samsung Gear Live according to ZDNET.
The compatibility of the Microsoft fitness tracker will allow the user to explore with different OS experience as the device will work with Android and iOS devices beside Windows Phones. Microsoft has not mentioned anything about the price of the device. The wearable will come with impressive battery life that will provide backup for almost 2 days with regular usage. Toms Life news indicates that it will probably have longer battery life than warbles like Gear Live or LG's G smart watch.
Microsoft has focused on the health and fitness sector and the launching on MSN.com portal indicates the initiatives. As mentioned in the Forbes News users can maintain regular diet chart, can track running paths with GPS coordinates, can follow the cardiac exercises, check burned calories, explore history of previous record y the Health and Fitness Vertical section on MSN.com So the initiatives of Microsoft towards heath issue directly indicates about the launch of new Wearable Fitness tracker.
