iPod Touch 6 Generation Price In USA: Exclusive Details on Features and More
Over the last few months there has been a lot of discussion on what Apple is planning to release and if the fans should wait a little more to get their hands on these gadgets. It is a long known story that the business for iPods and other music listening devices is going down primarily because people get all of it in their smartphones. However, it will be not wrong to say that a lot of students and teens really like iPods and its features.
The next iPod Touch 6 was due for a release in October this year, but it seems like Apple is either busy working on a new model or has completely ditched it. According to VC Post, they are definitely working on a new version but it is difficult to say what it will offer. According to many rumors, the new iPod will preferably be launched in first few months of next year, somewhere around or with Apple Watch release date. Although the holiday season would have been the perfect time for business, Apple seems to be investing a lot of time in its development.
The business for iPods has declined due to a number of reasons and Tim Cook had showed concerns about it back in October 2012 at the released of iPod Touch 5. Market experts believe that Apple has a habit of reinventing things when they are not selling, and now they will come up with a new and improved iPod. Tim Cook has reportedly asked the team to come up with ideas that establishes iPod as a complete entertainment package rather than a simple personal music player. That is why they are planning to incorporate Touch ID, Apple Pay, new colors, Retina display, better camera, new processor, and many similar things that make it stand over the predecessor.
As far as the pricing is concerned, Apple might come up with two screen size models in 16 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB storage space variants priced at $299, $399, and $499 depending on features and screen size, something similar to iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus pricing policy.
