Apple has been ruling the tech market with its new technologies and products. From phones to tablets and from tablets to laptop's and desktops, Apple has taken over the other competitors. Technology has made tedious tasks simpler and this is used in building Apple products.
The new Apple iMac with Retina 5K display is meant for a all-in-one entertainment system, business, mainstream, multimedia and so on.
The iMac comes with a 27 inches LCD widescreen, having a resolution of approximately 5120×2880. This acts as a high end performance for video and photo editing. The 5K retina display provides crystal clear video.
The physical appearance of the new iMac is nothing different than the earlier one's. However, the only advantage of this structure of the product is that, it pushes the retina display outward, which is of a great use in all tasks such a viewing or editing videos.
It is built on a Intel core i5 processor, with a 1TB storage capacity, coupled with a 8GB RAM. This is of utmost use, as the new iMac is trained to execute tasks such as editing of 4k videos in a quicker and simpler way, PC Magazine reported.
However, the iMac does not provide touch-screen. It comes with a AMD Radeon R9 M290X graphics card, which helps in preventing lagging of application in the course of work. The iMac is based on Mac OS X Yosemite. One huge advantage in the new iMac is the provision of three USB ports at the back of the system, and the new Thunderbolt 2 spec that promises even faster I/O transfer speeds/ there is also a SDXC card slot, a headphone port and a Gigabit Ethernet port. However, the structure of these ports behind the system makes it difficult for the user.
The new iMac provides 802.11ac Wi-Fi and 4.0 Bluetooth.
Hence, looking at all these features, the iMac is a place for all-needs. In fact, it is a all-in-one device and resonates to every user of every walks of life. The 5K retina display offered by this devise is incomparable and can be called a 'tailor-made' product.
However, looking on the other side of the coin, the iMac 5K Retina display is priced at approximately $2,499, which is a huge amount for this device, TechCrunch reported.
Except the price factor, the new iMac 5K Retina display is an exceptional and a powerful device.
