OSU Marching Band Rocked on their Halftime Show
The Ohio State University's marching band put on an extraordinary performance that truly earned their very own nickname as the best damn band in today's time. The marching band of OSU is renowned for its exceptional and amazing productions as well as marching ability. The halftime show was actually classic rock and has featured songs, which are definitely classics.
The Inquistr reported that the performance was one of a kind that it immediately started trending on Facebook after the show.
In the video posted on WTHR, some of the highlights include the popular Rolling Stones tongue, smashing of the guitar, and the lip design. The opening formation follows the typical OSU, which is a giant drummer. Then, the band moved into the tongue of Rolling Stones and to a terrific guitarist. Not only the band made a great guitarist image out of their formation, but also they proceeded to make sure that the image will rock out accordingly, complete with a visible hand that strums. After more than two minutes, the guitarist strikes a pose on a single knee, which is considered as the most entertaining part of the show.
After that, the band made a pinball machine with a football size. Aside from making a pinball machine formation, to make it more real, they included a person who is dressed with a white ball costume that run around the field knocking the bumpers.
Jam-packed with the best on-field choreography, OSU marching band took delighted fans on the musical journey, which starts with the song "Jump" of Van Halen, then "Jumpin' Jack Flash" of Rolling Stones,
The Frankenstein of Edgar Winter Group also acquires a 9-minute medley as the OSU marching band forms the Frankenstein figure, which glides across the field.
HuffingtonPost also described the performance of Ohio State University's marching band as a hurricane as it rocks the stadium. The show ends with a big bang as the guitars was smashed on the field. For everyone who are present at the show said that it is really a must watch especially for classic rock or marching band lover.
