Taylor Swift Joins 'The Voice'
Taylor Swift will be joining as guest mentor for this season's "The Voice US." Television network NBC has recently announced that the "Shake It Off" singer will be in the show for its Knockout Rounds. The Inside TV reported that Taylor Swift will be the key adviser for "The Voice" and will be joining the four coaches Adam Levine, Gwen Stefanie, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams. She is expected to contribute on the contestants' growth in the show especially on their vocal techniques, stage performance and how to choose songs that suit their personalities. Swift will also be mentoring on the contestants' stage presence and how to harness their strengths as well as overcome their weaknesses.
Swift's presence in "The Voice" is also being welcomed well by the coaches. Coach Gwen Stefani even tweeted her excitement of Taylor joining the team. Many fans also believe that Swift will add more excitement and spice to the famous reality TV contest. Some even said that she is to break the bromance between coaches Shelton and Levine. According to the Inquisitr, Shelton was charmed by the wits and humor of Swift. This was evident when Shelton cracked a joke on Swift about the latter being one of the crazy girls. Swift was able to manage Shelton's joke and revealed her wacky side by simply answering that she feels it is already assumed and understood that she is one of the crazy girls.
With Swift's presence, will the close friendship between Levine and Blake (dubbed by many as bromance) be tested?
During her guest appearance at "The Ellen Show," Swift gave more excitement to "The Voice" fans by giving some tidbits on her experience in working with the four coaches. In a report by the Entertainment Wise, it was revealed that Swift even made a joke on Levine's so-called weakness. Swift said that Broadway songs make Levine a weak coach. She likened the musical theatre songs as a kryptonite to Levine. Swift also shared how she is having a fantastic time in "The Voice" especially in spending time with the amazing coaches. Swift is expected to be seen starting Monday episode, Oct. 27.
