The biggest Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung has constantly heated up the release platform with advanced technological innovations while BlackBerry has been preparing the master class for years. The latest release from Samsung the Galaxy Note 4 has been the most popular and reviewed phablet for now while Canadian Company BlackBerry has appeared with the Passport to compete against its bitter rivals. Let's have quick review between these two devices.
The BlackBerry Passport displays a 4.5-inch screen that contains 1440 x 1440 pixels resolution. And on the other hand, the pixel density is knife-edge sharp with 453 pixels per inch. Meanwhile the Galaxy Note 4 presents the best display available in the current market for now, as the display type is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. It comes with a 5.7-inches display size that offers 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The pixel density is eye catching with 515 pixels per inch and one of the sharpest in the smartphone world. The Galaxy Note boasts of a display type, which is Super AMOLED and capacitive touch-screen with 16M colors. Both the devices are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The camera department is featured by high tech specification for both the devices where BlackBerry is packed with 13MP rear pack camera and 2MP front camera sensor. The other smartphone Samsung Note 4 brings 16MP rear facing camera coupled with 3.7 MP selfie camera sensor.
BlackBerry Passport is a smart device that is built to meet the business oriented demands but it still features powerful configuration that includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset that is supports Quad-Core 2.26GHz Krait-400 processor. And the GPU segment somehow losses the pace with Adreno 330 chip. Other contestant Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is boasted by extreme specification that comes in two variants.
SM-N910S model contains Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 hardware chipset with Quad-Core processor, which is 2.7GHz Krait 450 and Adreno 420 GPU. The other variant SM-N910C is provided by Eynos chipset that is assisted by Quad-Core 1.3GHz Cortex-A53 and the very powerful and versatile Quad Core 1.9GHz Cortex A-57 processor. The GPU compartment adds Mali-T760 chip.
Both the devices come with 32GB internal storage space and facility of expanding the memory with 128GB microSD card slot. Both of them are powered by 3GB of RAM. Android OS 4.4.4KitKat operate Galaxy Note 4 while Passport has its own BlackBerry 10.3 operating system.
