The first trailer for Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever has surfaced using the voice of "Parks and Recreation" star Aubrey Plaza. You can check out the trailer above and see if it is anything that you could be expecting.
The movie will feature a pet-store cat that is constantly overlooked until a 12-year-old girl has her holiday wishes come true...or so she thinks.
"You really screwed up your big wish," Grumpy Cat (voiced by Plaza) reveals to the innocent young girl.
"Don't get sappy on me," Grumpy Cat says in the new trailer. "Wait, I forgot-it's a Lifetime movie."
Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever is set to premiere as a holiday special movie on Lifetime on November 29.
Filming took place over the summer with Tim Hill and Jeff Morris wrote the script.
The actual Grumpy Cat from the movie is owner Tabatha Bundesen. She posted a picture of the cat onto Reddit in 2012 and she has since become a viral hit, including the subject of a book, calendar and even on "American Idol".
She does have a Facebook page with close to seven million. When the latest preview from Lifetime was released, Grumpy Cat shared, "I had a movie trailer once. It was awful."
Aubrey Plaza herself wrote on twitter, "DREAMS DO COME TRUE!" #RT FOREVER #grumpycatsworstchrismasever #ThanksgivingHEREWECOME."
Do you think Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever can become a Christmas movie classic to play among the likes of Elf, It's A Wonderful Life and Home Alone? We will have to find out!
Make sure to tune in to Lifetime to watch Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever when it premieres on November 29.
