Christian Pop-Folk Group I AM THEY Releases New Album on Jan 27

Christian folk-pop group I AM THEY is set to release its self-titled debut album on January 27, 2015 via Essential Records/Provident Distribution. The album is already preceded by the lead single "From the Day," which is already available on most digital stores.
"We are thrilled to introduce I AM THEY - a highly talented band that we believe avid music fans are going to love," says Blaine Barcus, vice president of A&R with Provident Music Group. "With compelling voices that intersect with a passion for spreading the Gospel and worshiping God, I AM THEY is poised to positively impact today's generation for the Kingdom of God in a significant way."
I AM THEY comprises of Adam Palmer (lead vocals/guitar), Matthew Hein (lead vocals/guitar), Stephanie Kulla (lead vocals/violin)Justin Shinn (keyboard), Bobby Stiehler (bass), and Sara Palmer (drums). The members of the band came together from several different churches in Carson City and first performed together at Solomon's Porch; a regular worship event bringing believers together from all over the city. The group was discovered at a Spirit West Coast festival "Battle of the Bands" where they won an opportunity to come to Nashville and have a song produced and recorded. Once in the studio, the band impressed some key industry veterans and labels, eventually signing with Essential/Provident in June 2013.
Their self-titled album is produced by Christian music's #1 songwriter Jason Ingram and Jonathan Smith. The 10-track project features their unique blend of folk-tinged pop, skillful musicianship and passionate vocals. Says Adam Palmer, "We were made to do this. Music ministry is our heartbeat and pulse. God has been growing dreams in us we didn't even realize we had. We are just trusting God and following where He leads."
