Avril Lavigne Seeks Prayers Over Undisclosed Illness

Punk rock singer Avril Lavigne is asking for fans to pray for her over her undisclosed illness. The 30-year-old pop star did not specify the illness from which she is suffering, and has yet to release a statement. Though her reps have confirmed that she is not pregnant.
Over twitter, when Lavigne was asked if she was making new music. She responded, "I feel bad because I haven't been able to say anything to the fans to let them no [sic] why I've been absent. I'm torn as I'm quite private.... I'm not feeling well. I'm having some health issues. So please keep me in your prayers."
Lavigne married fellow rocker and Nickelback's lead singer Chad Kroeger last summer and when she wasn't seen out with her husband in weeks, rumors of relationship woes started to circulate.
Over the weekend Lavigne thanked her fans for the support via twitter.
