Marvin Sapp Returns With "You Shall Live"
Gospel veteran artist Marvin Sapp will be back on June 2 with his new release RCA Inspiration release "You Shall Live." It is preceded by the feel-good single Yes You Can.
This album marks his first studio recording since 2005's "Be Exalted." Marvin partnered again on this project with his long-time producer Aaron Lindsey.
Pastor Marvin Sapp's record-breaking solo career has be crafted from the gospel singer's capacity to persevere through his personal hardships & later cast them into anthems that celebrate his testimony. The resilient "pastor who sings" continues to share his heart-warming brand of gospel music that mirrors his own troubled yet triumphant journey with "You Shall Live."
Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Sapp began singing in church at the age of 4. In 1991, Fred Hammond handpicked him to join his renowned urban contemporary gospel group Commissioned. Marvin began his solo-career in 1996 & has since become a household name in gospel music.
This spring, Marvin Sapp will release You Shall Live under the RCA Inspiration label. The empowering track "Yes You Can" is also the lead single for the album, which is released on March 24th 2015.
