Charles Jenkins Performs "War" On BET's "Sunday Best" This Sunday 7/19 @8:00 PM EST

Pastor Charles Jenkins and his electrifying choir Fellowship Chicago will open the second hour of the eighth season premiere of Black Entertainment Television's (BET) "Sunday Best" musical competition program with its radio smash "#War." The big show kick off at 8:00 PM EST/7:00 PM CST and Pastor Jenkins' dynamic ensemble opens the second hour of the two-hour broadcast. "War" is a riveting and inspiring fusion of New Orleans-brass band beats and contemporary swag. The song is currently #2 on Billboard Magazine's Gospel Airplay chart and hails from the #1 album "Any Given Sunday."
This season of "Sunday Best" is an all-star edition featuring some of the contestants from the last seven years. Fans will vote online to pick the show's Top Ten finalists. Gospel megastar Kirk Franklin hosts the program and celebrity judges include Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin and Kierra Sheard. Kim Burrell returns as a mentor. The chosen Sunday Best All Stars will compete for a cash prize, recording contract with Franklin's recording label Fo Yo Soul Recordings, and a second chance for the coveted Sunday Best crown.
