Flyleaf's Lead Singer Kristen May Gives Birth to a Son

Kristen May is the current lead singer of Christian rock group Flyleaf. On December 28, she gave birth to her first born, a son named Graham. On social media, Kristen shares "I'm speechless and so thankful right now. And just in love."
"Currently pondering life and cuddling this angel, my son. pic.twitter.com/U9kn97YAia," she continues.
In 2012, May replaced Lacey Sturm as the lead singer of Flyleaf. Prior to joining Flyleaf, May was the lead singer of the now-defunct band Vedera. During its tenure however, Vedera's album Stages hit 146 on the Billboard 200. Vedera's most popular song was "Satisfy" which charted at 36 on Billboard's Top 40 Adult Pop Songs.
On September 16, 2014, Flyleaf released Between the Stars, their new full length album with Kristen May. The new album comes in two configurations: the standard version as well as the deluxe edition. The standard package contains 12 songs while the special edition is graced with 4 additional new songs.
"For the first time, we went into the studio and let things happen. "It was about the energy and the spontaneity of a song more than anything. It was a very refreshing approach," May said of the recording process of Between the Stars, "It's the most emotional album I've ever been a part of. There are some really heavy things and lyrics that weren't easy to say. Everybody tried to be as raw as possible when we were writing and recording. That all came out in the songs."
