Hillsong's Movie "Let Hope Rise" Will be Back on the Big Screen Again

Last year, Hillsong Church's much anticipated documentary movie Let Hope Rise was scraped. Now, thanks to Grace Hill Media, Hillsong's Let Hope Rise will be back on the big screen. Grace Hill Media has announced that 300 lucky Hillsong UNITED fans in the Los Angeles area will get to screen Let Hope Rise on February 8th. The screening will take place at Pacific 18 Theaters at The Grove at 7pm local time. The first 300 to sign up will have a reserved seat.
Let Hope Rise was actually set to be released by Warner Brothers last year, but the movie was pulled from its release date. Later, Relativity Media took up the responsibilty to release the movie. Unforunately, due to financial difficulties, the movie was put on hold again.
The movie traces the rise of Hillsong Church from a small church of 40 worshippers into a mega church of over 20,000 worshippers a week. Directed by Michael John Warren, the film follows the band as they labor to record their next album and explores the history of Hillsong, a 30-year journey from a tiny church in the Sydney suburbs to a vibrant international ministry. The movie culminates in a transformational concert experience spotlighting the humble hearts behind this worldwide sensation. Director Michael John Warren's documentary chronicles the Australia-based, 11-member Christian worship band Hillsong United's rise to prominence, from a youth group at Hillsong Church to a worldwide sensation that has sold more than 16 million albums.
