Copeland New Album 2014, Listen to New Song "Ordinary" and Watch Reunion Teaser Here (VIDEO)
Popular indie rock band, Copeland, is making a triumphant return after six years with the release of a band new album. This will be their fifth studio album and will be entitled "Ixora". This is their first album since the release of You Are My Sunshine in October 2008.
They have released a new video teaser which footage of the band jamming out on electric guitars, but contains the new Copeland song "Ordinary" which is a piano ballad sounding like a signature Copeland song to the delight of many fans. The record will be recorded and produced by Aaron Marsh at his studio in Lakeland, FL, The Vanguard Room. Copeland originally formed in 2001 by singer Aaron Marsh with his friend, bassist and backup singer James Likeness, in the city of Lakeland, Florida. They released their first album. The members of Copeland are: Aaron Marsh - lead vocals, guitars, piano, organ, mellotron; Bryan Laurenson - guitars, piano; Stephen Laurenson - guitars and Jonathan Bucklew - drums, percussion.
Aaron Marsh was involved with the band Anchor & Braille along with Anberlin's Stephen Christian, producing the band's debut album Felt, which was released on August 4, 2009. Marsh is currently involved with a new project called The Lulls In Traffic. Bryan Laurenson's first band was Last Kid Picked, out of Annapolis, MD. Bryan and Stephen Laurenson have recently formed a band, States, with Mindy White (previously of Lydia).
Copeland signed with Militia Group Records in 2002 and release their first album Beneath the Medicine Tree in March of 2003. Their other full album releases include In Motion (2005), Eat, Sleep, Repeat (2006) and You Are My Sunshine in 2008.
