Bri Spends a Second Week on the Top of Billboard Gospel Album Chart

Bri (Briana Babineaux) is enjoying Spring fever with the public embrace of her debut album "Keys To My Heart" (Marquis Boone/Tyscot Records). Last week, the twelve-track project debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Magazine's Top Gospel Albums chart and the stunning set of songs holds on to the top spot for its second week.
On street week, the cool collection debuted on no less than four other charts with a No. 4* placement on the Christian/Gospel Albums sales chart, No. 9 on the Independent Albums sales chart, No. 43* on the Top Albums (all genres) sales chart and No. 138* on the Top 200 hybrid chart (all genres). This week Bri's radio single "I'll Be The One" nets a +33 spin increase to leap from No. 14 to No. 12 on the Gospel Airplay chart.
This twelve-track collection has been receiving critical-acclaim from a number of media outlets. A reviewer for Black Grooves wrote that, "Bri belts outs skillfully embellished runs and high notes in the choruses. In 'Keys to My Heart,' Bri puts her soul into every song she sings, proving that she's not just a social media star, but a rising gospel star with a lot to say." Sarah Hearn of the Examiner.com hails it as a "spectacular debut."
A writer for SoulTracks.com adds that, "Her voice projects the soulfulness, honesty, longing and range that's been heard in the great voices of the rock era stretching back Darlene Love and encompassing present day singers such as Chrisette Michele and Jazmine Sullivan." The Journal of Gospel Music gave the set 4/5 stars and labeled Bri the Janelle Monae of Gospel. " Fans can keep up with Bri and her activities at www.brination.org.
