The Voice's Sundance Head Debuts at #1 with "Me and Jesus"

NBC's The Voice Sundance Head debuts at #1 on Billboard Hot Christian songs chart with "Me and Jesus." Sundance Head is the first to debut at #1 since Jordan Smith's "Mary Did You Know" accomplished the same fleet on January 2 this year.
Belted by Team Blake contender Sundance Head, "Me and Jesus" received a standing ovation from the show's four coaches and a gushing rave from his own captain: "We never experienced any kind of performance like that, ever, in 11 seasons of the show!"
Following the show, Head's recording sold 28,000 downloads in the tracking week (ending Dec. 1), according to Nielsen Music, and bows at No. 1 on Christian Digital Song Sales, as well as Hot Christian Songs (dated Dec. 17).
"Me and Jesus" was a #8 hit for Tom T. Hall. Sundance Head is the son of country singer Roy Head, 75, who charted 24 titles on Hot Country Songs in 1974-85.
