Bri (Briana Babineaux) Wins Two Stellar Gospel Music Awards

Best-selling recording artist, Bri (Briana Babineaux), won two Stellar Gospel Music Awards this past weekend for her debut album, "Keys To My Heart" (Marquis Boone Enterprises/Tyscot), which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard Magazine's Gospel Albums sales chart in 2016. The singer won the coveted New Artist of the Year and Contemporary Female Vocalist of the Year Awards. "The last couple of years have been an exciting journey that I never planned," she says. "I'm so honored to received this recognition for my music and I just feel very thankful and blessed."
The soul-stirring album features Babineaux's self-penned radio hit, "Jacob's Song," which recently peaked at No. 18 on Billboard's Hot Gospel Songs chart. The prior radio single, "I'll Be The One," rose to No. 6 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart last year. The singer's cover of Francesca Battistelli's "Holy Spirit" debuted at No. 7 on Billboard's Gospel Digital sales chart. The lush and mellow, "My Everything," is currently garnering Smooth Jazz radio airplay.
The 32nd annual Stellar Awards took place at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas and the star-studded program airs Sunday, April 9th at 6, 8 and 11 PM ET on the TV One cable network.
