'X Factor' Season 3 Winners Alex & Sierra Release Debut Single 'Scarecrow' Video - Watch Here (VIDEO)
"X-Factor" Season 3 Winners Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton have released their first single titled "Scarecrow" with a lyric video for fans. On May 3rd, they teased a short audio clip from their debut single on their Instagram and now you can watch the full video above. The folk-infused track is feels like a great start for the duo and shows why Alex & Sierra won the singing competition. Their voices blend so well to make for a beautiful and stunning song.
"'Scarecrow' may not be slow, sad, and depressing like our more popular songs on the show but keep in mind that we're a happy couple, not a sad one!," Alex & Sierra wrote on their Facebook page. "We are SO passionate about this as the first look at our original music because we personally wrote this song together about our own experiences and we can perform this live and just love every second of it!"
Alex and Sierra are the only singing duo or group to win the U.S version of The X Factor. The boyfriend-girlfriend team have been mentored by judge Simon Cowell and are planning to release their debut album later in 2014. Cowell started the "X-Factor" reality singing competition show in the U.K. and put together the current top pop band in the world, One Direction, on the show in the U.K. a few seasons back. The U.S. version of the show has had some popularity but have yet to produce any large breakout stars yet.
The duo have been working on their new album with Julian Bunetta, Sam Watters, John Shanks, Toby Gad and Grammy award winning singer/songwriter John Legend.
