'Dumb & Dumber To' First Official Trailer Released for November 2014 Movie, Watch Here (VIDEO)
The highly anticipated movie Dumb and Dumber To starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels has finally released their first trailer, you can watch it above. No fan of the original movie actually expects the second one to be as good, but the trailer does give hope that the new comedy has potential and Carrey and Daniels still have some magic together.
Carrey and Daniels made an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Tuesday (June 10) in New York City to promote their film and debut the trailer.
Dumb and Dumber, starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels was released in 1994 and Dumb and Dumber To will be released 20 years later, in November 2014.
For years it appeared that a movie sequel would never happen after years of quiet. However, they finally got everyone on board and got the green light to start filming. There will be many guest cameos from A-list celebrities including Hunger Games star, Jennifer Lawrence.
Jim Carrey, now 51 and Jeff Daniels, 58, hope to still have what it takes to produce a great comedy together. "The scariest thing? There are some things that we're going to do in 'Dumb and Dumber To' that make the toilet scene [in the original] seem lame," said Daniels. "Pales in comparison and I can't divulge what, but just that they've topped it." (via Yahoo)
Dumb and Dumber To was directed by the Farrelly brothers, Bobby and Peter, and produced by Charles B. Wessler, Riza Aziz, Joey McFarland and Bradley Thomas. The movie is being released by Universal pictures and had a budget of $35 million. Shooting began on September 22, 2013 in Atlanta and wrapped up in November.
Will you go to the theaters to see Dumb and Dumber To when it releases on November 14th?
