Southern Raised Featured in Extended Run Show
StowTown Records artist Southern Raised is wrapping up a successful summer run at the Blue Gate Theatre in Shipshewana, IN. Their 6-week show, "American Made," is the first of its kind and a huge success for the Blue Gate Theatre.
"Our time at the Blue Gate Theatre has been a truly amazing experience from start to finish," shares Southern Raised member Lindsay Reith. "Sharing faith, family and freedom as we journey through American Roots music has been exhilarating! We've taken our audiences on this journey by using music from various themes and genres including classical, Celtic, gospel, Americana, a sixties-style number and a patriotic medley honoring our military and country. We have had such a wonderful time celebrating America through this show! Thank you to the Blue Gate for having us!"
The Blue Gate Theatre hosts over 280 shows each year. In 2018, this includes 75 different artists and 3 musicals. This particular show is the first extended run show of its kind for the Blue Gate Theatre. Theatre owner, Mel Riegsecker, adds, "Our guests have been heaping praise on this outstanding show. It is absolutely top of the line! Southern Raised has created something truly special. We are honored to have had them in Shipshewana this summer."
Their current StowTown project, Another World, is available via retail and digital outlets worldwide and is distributed by Sony/Provident. You can still catch Southern Raised in their "American Made" show in Shipshewana this week through Saturday, August 11. For more information, click HERE.
