Chanel Haynes Solo Debut Album 'Trin-i-tee 5:7 According To Chanel' Available Now Everywhere
Recording artist Chanel Haynes' released her first solo album, Trin-i-tee 5:7 According To Chanel online and in stores yesterday (June 17th).
"My big day has finally arrived, and I'm on my way to Walmart to buy my own copy!!" said Chanel. "I'm excited to debut my solo album for my fans and hope it makes a positive impact on the lives of others. Follow my lead, and go get your copy!"
'Chanel Haynes' single "Repay" is out on Gospel radio now and now her full solo debut album Trin-i-tee 5:7 According To Chanel is set to release everywhere on June 17th. Her "Repay" single was written and produced by long-time friend and Maroon5 band member PJ Morton.
"Every song on this CD comes from a joyful or memorable time in my life," explained Chanel. "Songs like 'Masterful,' 'Believe,' and 'You,' are all songs that are carved right out of my heart and soul. Each song only has one word as its title because I wanted to make sure that the focus is where it's supposed to be - on the music and lyric."
The new album will feature 12 tracks written by Chanel and Morton. It features the signature contemporary Gospel/Urban sound Trin-i-tee 5:7 fans have loved over the years, but now with a blossoming Chanel on all lead vocals as a solo artist, showcasing her unique sound and musical creativity. The CD, produced by Chanel, Darien Dorsey and PJ Morton, is released on her newly formed label, Obsidian Records and is distributed in partnership with Central South Distribution.
"I'm looking forward to this new chapter in my career, taking the wisdom and strength I've gathered over the years to create something I am excited to share with my fans," said Chanel. "'Trini-i-tee 5:7 According To Chanel' will hopefully show who I am as an individual singing and writing the music I know and love. I hope this album will refresh fans and inspire listeners to live an abundant life for the Father."
