Highlands Worship "Jesus You Alone" Debuts at No. 1

With a passion to encourage congregational worship, create resources for churches and draw listeners closer to God, Highlands Worship released its third, full-length album, Jesus You Alone, March 1 with global distribution for the first time through The Fuel Music. Debuting at No. 1 on the SoundScan Praise and Worship chart and selling 9,810 copies in its first week at retail, the album also received 466,000 on demand streams in the US alone. Remarkably, Spotify listeners also grew from 100,000 to over 260,000 monthly listeners, marking a 160% increase in just one week.
Recorded at the Birmingham, AL-based Church of the Highlands, one of America's largest churches, produced by Highlands Worship's Chris Griffin and mixed by Sam Gibson (Hillsong, Jesus Culture, Chris Tomlin), Jesus You Alone includes 15-songs and over 70-minutes of music. It also features Highlands Worship's diverse group of talented songwriters and vocalists from the church and is available now at digital retail and streaming outlets everywhere through smarturl.it/HW_JYA.
Highlighted tracks on the album include "Song In My Heart," "Who Is Like The Lord" and the title trackthat was co-written by Highlands Worship's John Larson, Nicole McLean and Jesse Abram Reeves. "Jesus You Alone" also became the first video released from the album, which was produced by Dan Atchison, whose credits include the 2018 ACM Video of the Year (Thomas Rhett's "Marry Me") and multiple CMT and Dove Awards-winning releases.
"Worship has been one of the central marks of Church of the Highlands since the beginning. This latest collection of Highlands Worship is the heart beat of our community," shares Larson, who leads Highlands Worship's 900+ active worship team members and 70 full or part-time musicians on staff. "It's not about us, it's about Jesus - and because of what He has done for us, we have a reason to sing."
