Sorry Fans But the Premier of Sherlock Season 4 Moved to 2016!
Martin Freeman revealed that plans to shoot Sherlock Season 4 has been altered!
According Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, they had been very keen to details yet they accidentally casted the two most successful actors in the industry, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. Because of this development, the filming and the premier of the said series has been delayed.
Steven Moffat said that the story has been crafted and it all just depends on the casts' availability.
As Digital Spy interviewed Freeman, he said, "It's very hard to get together. But it's one of those things where you have to at some point just go, 'We're going to do it now' - otherwise we could be having this conversation in three years."
He even added to the website: "There comes a point where you've got to p*** or get off the pot."
Also, according to Moffat, fans would be seeing more of Molly in the next season. "I think she will become an important part of the show. One difficulty in adapting Sherlock Holmes is that there are no women in the original stories. You really do not have the female perspective on them and they are a little flat when they show up. Yet, every time a woman appears in Sherlock, it works hugely well." He kept explaining that women and their characters are very important to the show.
Despite of the excitement, fans are very disappointed that they had to delay the premier. Moffat said again. "You know, we will do what we can but not sacrifice quality. If people have to wait for two years, they will have to wait for two years."
