Florida Georgia Line Invites Chris Tomlin On Stage To Perform “How Great Is Our God”

Country music super duo Florida Georgia Line invited worship leader Chris Tomlin to sing with them at their Atlanta concert on Aug. 31. The duo invited Chris Tomlin onto the stage to sing Tomlin's signature worship song "How Great Is Our God."
FGL's Tyler Hubbard said the duo have been longtime fans of the singer. "We get to do something we've been looking forward to for a long time. God really does have a sense of humor ... a few months back, we got to meet one of our heroes and we ended up connecting with him and building a friendship and a brotherhood. We ended up getting to write a lot of songs and been hanging out a ton."
He went on to explain that he and bandmate Brian Kelley got started singing in the church and would often lead worship singing many of Tomlin's songs. "This is probably one of the coolest moments for us. It's truly a full-circle God thing," Hubbard said, before adding that they would be performing "one of the songs that he wrote that changed our life and that we've sung hundreds of thousands of times in church."
