Samsung Gear Live Vs Pebble Steel : Comparison Between The Specs Of The Samsung Gear Live Smartwatch And Pebble Steel Smartwatch
Smartwatches are now the new inventions on the block after the android devices. Although the Smartwatches and android devices work hand in hand, having a Smartwatch gives you a more elegant and more high-tech experience in your day to day activities.
Here I will focus more on the Samsung Gear Live and the Pebble Steel Smartwatches. To begin with, the Pebble Steel comes with a black and white 144 by 168 resolution; 176 PPI. This amazing smart watch comes with the ARM cortex-M3 single core processor that is rated at 80MHz. the device comes with a storage capacity of 1MB and a random access memory of 96KB. Other features on the Smartwatch are Bluetooth 2.1, 3-axis accelerometer, magnetometer, sleep tracking, E-compass in future software, ambient light sensor, proprietary leather or steel bands, water resistance, and comes in either the colors black or silver.
The Samsung Gear Live on the other hand comes with a 320 by 320 resolution display that is 278 PPI and touch screen as well. The device also comes with Snapdragon 400 quad-core Chipset that is rated at 1.2 GHz. The Smartwatch comes with a storage capacity of 4GB and a random access memory of 512MB. Other features on the device include Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Gyro, accelerometer/ compass, IP67 water and dust resistance, wrist strap, heart rate monitor and comes in either the colors black or wine red and also must be paired to android 4.3 and above device to work.
From the outlook and elegance, the Pebble Steel rightly takes it with its amazing shape and appearance. However, in terms of processing speeds and storage capacity, the Pebble Steel is a bit handicapped having very weak processing speeds and the storage capacity is also very limited. The Samsung Gear Live however has an okay look but in terms of performance it is simply the better of the two. The only problem with the Samsung Gear Live is that is has to be paired to an android device to work yet the Pebble can work independently. All in all the Samsung Gear Live is the better of the two for someone who is looking for performance and a better technological capability. However, for those looking for elegance and looks the Pebble Steel takes the day. All in all considered the two Smartwatches are definitely a step onto the next level of technological magnificence.
