Kirk Cameron Headlines PragerU’s New Season of "Stories of Us"

Popular actor and outspoken Christian Kirk Cameron has appeared on PragerU's new season of "Stories of Us." On the show, Cameron talked about finding stardom, faith, love and identity amid pressures of Hollywood.Cameron is a television and film actor and producer best known for his role as "Mike Seaver" on ABC's Growing Pains and work on films such as Fireproof and Unstoppable.
In the episode, Cameron reveals that success in the entertainment industry left him feeling unfulfilled and questioning his purpose in life. This led him on a journey to discover a relationship with God and find ultimate fulfillment in his faith and family.
"The same difficult challenges and influences of Hollywood that turn some people sour, and make them narcissistic and bitter and joyless and afraid to not fit in, is the same pressure that actually softened my heart and caused me to embrace gratitude and be thankful for the life that I have. I want to use my platform and this Hollywood industry to advance the good," said Cameron. "If you don't know what you're made of, don't look to your environment or your industry or other people to give you an identity."
Since its debut in 2021, "Stories of Us" episodes have grown to average over 2.2 million views per episode and have helped increase overall female viewership to PragerU by 5%. Using powerful storytelling, Americans from all walks of life share their ideological awakenings and their deep appreciation for America.
