Sarah Kroger's "Night Prayer" is a Great Prayer Resource for Lent
Nashville-based songwriter and worship leader Sarah Kroger has created a series of night prayer videos entitled Night Prayer. These videos are designed to be used as a prayer resource during the season of Lent.
Night Prayer is a part of the Liturgy of the Hours, a form of prayer that marks various hours throughout the day to help us live out the call to "pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:16). Night Prayer is meant to be said right before going to sleep to offer up the day. It includes an examination of conscience, a hymn, readings, and responses.
Kroger writes, "Night Prayer has been such a powerful tool for my prayer life. A simple way for me to incorporate a practice of self-awareness and repentance into my daily life. I hope that these videos will be a blessing to you."
You can subscribe to Kroger's YouTube channel for easy access.
