Becky Buller's Upcoming Christmas Album Boasts Contributions by Ricky Skaggs, Vince Gill, Rhonda Vincent, Tim O'Brien & Others

BMA award-winning Bluegrass artist Becky Buller will be releasing her Christmas album The Perfect Gift on December 2. Featuring the album's lead single "Last Christmas," this revamped bluegrassy Wham! classic finds Sierra Hull, Dan Tyminski, Ron Block, Barry Bales, and Todd Livingston joining Buller.
Other notable guests on The Perfect Gift include Vince Gill and Ricky Skaggs on "Tell Me the Story of Jesus". Rhonda Vincent on the song "A Marshmallow World". Tim O'Brien on "Oh Come, O Come Emmanuel". And The Fairfield Four on "Mary Rocked Her Baby" among others.
"Folks react strongly to this song," Becky explains. "They either love, love, love it or they absolutely cannot bear to hear it. There is no in-between. Was including it on my first-ever Christmas record a risky move? Probably. Is kicking off the album with it complete insanity? Yup!"
"I just heard the song so many times," Becky continued. "I started studying on how I could Bluegrass it... And came up with something a little bit different."
"Honestly, when Becky brought me this idea, I wasn't too sure about it," Said Stephen Mougin producer and owner of Dark Shadow Recording Studios. "It's a little far out on paper. As we all started to arrange it, experimenting with different ideas, the song really blossomed into a fun track. The more they played it, the more it grew. Everyone brought their 'A' game and turned this tune into an energetic cut that puts a unique stamp on the song."
