Here Are the Winners for the Gospel/Christian Music Categories at the 2023 Grammy Awards

The biggest night in music has arrived. On Sunday, the 65th Grammy Awards claimed the stage of the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Trevor Noah, who has served as the MC for the ceremony twice before, returned to host a show that included performances by Jay-Z, Harry Styles, Lizzo, Bad Bunny, Brandy Carlile, and more.
At the 2022 Grammy Awards Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin became the first Gospel artists in 20 years to perform during the televised ceremony. One year later and it's four for four in the Grammy category for Gospel. MCM and Franklin took home the Grammy awards for Best Gospel Performance/Song ("Kingdom" feat. Naomi Raine & Chandler Moore), Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance ("Fear is Not My Future" feat. Brandon Lake & Chandler Moore), Best Contemporary Christian Music Album ("Breathe") and Best Gospel Album ("Kingdom Book One" Deluxe).
Tennessee State University Marching Band made history, becoming the first HBCU band to win a Grammy, winning the Grammy for Best Roots Gospel Album ("The Urban Hymnal").
