Natalie Grant Revisits Russ Taff's "We Will Stand" with Tauren Wells, Jekalyn Carr & CAIN
Natalie Grant has decided to revisit legendary Christian artist Russ Taff's 1983's "We Will Stand" by cutting her version. To make her version even more special, Grant has enlisted the help of guest vocalists pop hitmaker Tauren Wells, Gospel sensation Jekalyn Carr, and chart-topping family trio CAIN. You can hear both Grant's and Taff's versions below.
"I grew up listening to Russ Taff, first with The Imperials and then as he became a solo artist," shares Grant. "This song takes me back - from singing it in church to singing in the car with my family on road trips. What's so amazing to me is how relevant this message still is. These lyrics could have been written today. I'm so grateful for Tauren, Jekalyn and CAIN - what they've contributed will help bring this song to life for a whole new generation."
Grant has remained one of Christian music's top-selling artists since her 2005 breakout RIAA Gold-certified album, Awaken. Having been named Female Vocalist of the Year by the Gospel Music Association five times, Grant has propelled multiple singles and records to the #1 spot on the Billboard album charts. She's the author of multiple books, including the Glimmer Girls series for tween girls. A fierce advocate for social justice, she's also the co-founder of Hope for Justice, an international non-profit organization with offices in 7 countries across 5 continents that works to end modern-day slavery. The singer and her husband, GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter/producer Bernie Herms, live in Nashville with their three daughters.
