Demi Lovato Appearing on Track for New Nick Jonas Album 2014
Nick Jonas just released his new single "Chains" from his upcoming new album and now E! News has reported that Demi Lovato will also sing on a song for Nick's album. "We did one for my record," Nick told the site. "It's a great song that we both love. Her voice is just amazing on it. She's the real deal. It's the perfect fit for this record."
Nick Jonas has released the official new music video for his single "Chains". You can watch the video HERE.
"I wanted this one to just be like an art piece," the 21-year-old Jonas shared with MTV. "Like a trailer to a cinematic movie and really have the tone of the song connected to the visual because it is dark and edgy and I think this video really captures that. It's a really beautiful visual."
"It's definitely a progression for me," Nick told MTV News. "I really wanted to push myself, work with some people that would help me grow and, you know, I kind of came to a place where I said, look, I've already had a full career at the age of 21-years-old and I get to start over and this is really cool and really approach it as a new artist."
"That's what I grew up on and that's what feels natural when I open my mouth to sing and so having a pop alternative music bed with the soul vocal, I feel like really works," he explained. "I think this is definitely more of a mature sound as it relates to Jonas Brothers music and Nick Jonas & the Administration."
Nick and Demi have worked together this last year with Demi hiring Nick as her musical director for her last tour. She is hitting the road again this fall with Christina Perri and MKTO as support acts (you can see her tour dates below).
