Matt Redman Releases a Brand New Version of "10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)"

Worship leader and songwriter Matt Redman releases a brand-new version of "10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)," recorded live in Las Vegas in January 2024, as the lead single on his new album, Coming Back to the Heart (releasing summer 2024).The new version brings stripped down, fresh music to Redman's proverbial lyrics of this iconic worship song. While the new recording has similar elements to the original, Redman says the ending of the song has, "a beautiful gospel flow."
"It's easily the song I've been part of that's had the most momentum," he said. "It also led to me hearing some of the most powerful and poignant testimonies that you could imagine from people for who, in their most intense life moments-perhaps a hospital room or a funeral-this song became their soundtrack."
The new version of "10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)" reignites a familiar anthem that simply and beautifully glorifies God, ushering worshippers into His presence. "I'm amazed how sometimes songs still have life in them even a decade or so after being written."
You can listen to the song HERE.
