Bethel Music Drops New Single, "He Has Done Great Things" Feat. Brian Johnson

Bethel Music announces the release of their latest single, "HE HAS DONE GREAT THINGS (LIVE)," available now on all streaming platforms, accompanied by a live music video. Led by Bethel Music Co-Founder Brian Johnson, the track is part of the collective's highly anticipated album, "We Must Respond," set for global release on January 10, 2025. Listen to/pre-save the song here and watch the music video here.
"He Has Done Great Things (Live)"is a beautiful depiction of the gospel and the sacrifice of Jesus. With inspiration from Psalm 103, it leads listeners to remember the gift of God's everlasting love, mercy, and forgiveness.
Says Johnson, "'He Has Done Great Things' is one of my favorite songs I've been a part of writing in a long time. It takes us back to the heart of simple worship. From the writing room to the recording, this song just fell into place. I think I'll be singing this one for the rest of my life."
Fresh off their recent GRAMMY®-nomination for "Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song" with "Holy Forever" feat. Bethel's Jenn Johnson and gospel legend CeCe Winans, the worship collective is preparing for the release of "We Must Respond" in 2025. Recorded live earlier this year at the historic Cascade Theatre in Redding, Calif., the album features a collection of worship songs led by Bethel Music alongside guest vocalists including Abbie Gamboa, Brooke Ligertwood, and Aodhán King.
The upcoming compilation is inspired by a season of waiting on the Lord and reflects a deep call to worship. As Bethel's Bill Johnson explains, the album is a response to the invitation in Psalm 46:10: "Be still and know that I am God." It calls believers into a sacred exchange between the Spirit of God and the hearts of those who hunger for a deeper, more intimate connection with Him. In this place of surrender, true worship is birthed.
With a global reach that spans over 200 million listeners, thousands of churches using their music, and sold-out events like the Bethel Music Conference and Worship Nights, Bethel Music is one of the largest and most influential worship collectives in the world. Since its inception in 2001 (co-founded by Brian and Jenn Johnson), the collective has released 18 albums, produced multiple Gold and Platinum-certified albums, and consistently reached the top of the Billboard Christian Music charts with powerful songs like "Reckless Love," "It Is Well," and "Goodness of God." Hitting a new stride over the last few years, the collective has continually ranked #6 in the top 10 radio market share and their impactful music continues to resonate across the globe.
