Faith Worship Arts Offers Exclusive Insights into their New Album

Orlando, FL worship band Faith Worship Arts has just released their new album Fill This House on DREAM Worship. The 12-song album is a part live, part studio album coming in both HD and SD formats and includes 9 live videos that were directed and produced by Kyle Timian.
Faith Worship Arts is the worship movement of Faith Assembly in Orlando Fl. Under the leadership of Pastor John Dreher, FWA reaches out to people of various ages and backgrounds, aiming to go beyond traditional church settings to spread the message of Jesus Christ universally. With a passion for creativity and worship, FWA's greatest desire is to help individuals encounter Jesus in a real and authentic way. The songs they write are the manifestation of that desire and are used to reach the hearts of all ages.
Q: Thank you for doing this interview with us. Tell us more about who Faith Worship Arts is.
Faith Worship Arts is the worship ministry of our church, Faith Assembly in Orlando, Florida. We lead weekly worship in our services across 3 campuses, support regular special events across our organization, and we collectively write, produce, and record original music. We are happy to be a diverse bunch: a reflection of our local church and community. Most importantly, we love Jesus, and want to serve Him and His people well.
Q: What makes the music of Faith Worship Arts unique?
Our music is collaboratively written and produced with people from different demographics and perspectives. Our team and sound is diverse. Hopefully that comes across in the music, reaching people of varied backgrounds and cultures!
Q: When crafting songs for your new album, what type of songs were you trying to write?
Fill This House is definitely a local-church focused record, meaning this; most of these songs are written in a way that are designed for congregational engagement and not just listening. We were intentional about recording songs for congregational worship, songs that we would sing when we gather together with other believers. There's plenty of space with this recording for people to enjoy personal time with Jesus, but we also believe these songs will serve the church well as tools to help point groups of believers to Jesus in a united way.
Q: How did you get to work with DREAM Records?
Lance Brown from DREAM reached out to us after one of our previous releases to talk about our ministry and if a partnership of some sort would make sense. Our ministry values seemed to align at the time, and it felt like if we joined together, we'd be able to reach more people. In the end, it's all been working out well, and it's been a blessing!
Q: What are a couple of highlights in the making of Fill This House?
I love how our congregation was able to jump in ans sing along throught the record! It wasnt hard to worship with these "new" songs, ; they worked so well in our gatherings, and it translated well in the recording. You can feel the joy in the room while listening to "Good to Me," the still, yet intentional peace during "The Lifter," and the ferver and passion in "Fill This House!" If you happen to watch the video of "Fill This House," you'll likely catch that contagious fire coming from the congregation! They were going INNNNN with worship! I'll never forget it.
Q: Tell us more about your new song "Good 2 Me."
"Good 2 Me," is a vibrant declaration of God's unshakable goodness! We sing the truth that His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23) and His goodness follows us daily (Psalm 23:6), and the song is full of joy and gratitude. It's a reminder of how God's love touches every part of life. As listeners hear this song, we hope they're able to reflect on God's faithfulness and celebrate His goodness in their own story.
Q: How do you hope these new songs will impact the church and the world?
Our church's motto is "we exist to help people encounter Jesus." It's super simple, yet super real. We hope that these songs help people encounter Jesus through worship. We hope His presence, and His peace, and His joy meet people where they are as they listen, and we hope people are moved to sing along and declare His goodness and worth!
