Dead Island 2 Release Date, Spoilers and Review: New Context of Game Play Plot to Focus on California as Venue
The release date for Dead Island 2 has been slated for April 21st 2015 for PC, X Box One and PS4 according to reports from kdramastars. Apparently, the release date for the game was provided even before the playable demo which launches at the Gamescom 2014 event which will take place in Cologne, Germany. As such, if you are heading there for the event, you will be pleased to find that the game will be taking center stage as part of the lineup from Deep Silver among the other anticipated games including Metro Redux, Emergency 5 and Risen 3: Titan Lords as well as Sacred 3.
The game was first shown at the E3 2014 as the trailer showcased a man taking a job down the Californian strip unaware that there was a zombie outbreak taking place right behind him. No w you have a hint of where the story is going, right? This is not like the exotic island of Banoi. Instead the state of California has suffered from a zombie outbreak and the United States military have put the state under quarantine. Now California has become a prison for some and a paradise for others who seek blood lust and chaos, trying to survive. According to the game play, one is supposed to survive by any means necessary using cruse weapons. This combines very detailed elements of close quarters combat and never before seen crafted weapons. There were complaints with the first installments about the combat hit detection not being right, but the second game has rebuilt the combat style from the ground up.
This version features over the top sort of characters as they try and take the beach walk board walk of California's Venice beach. The Gamescom convention is open to the public and Deep Silver as a developer will provide for 150 gaming stations for the PC and the console lineup as those who attend will get some hands on time which each one of the games available.
