Vertical Worship Releases Powerful Live Track “Build An Altar”

Vertical Worship has unveiled a stirring new live single, "Build An Altar (Live)", a song that calls believers back to the sacred act of surrender and intimacy with God. Recorded during a passionate night of worship, this track captures the raw, unfiltered devotion that has become a hallmark of Vertical Worship's ministry.
"Build An Altar" invites listeners to lay down their burdens, distractions, and pride, and return to the place where transformation begins-at the feet of Jesus. With its prayerful lyrics and soaring melodies, the song speaks directly to the heart of worship: sacrifice, presence, and communion with the Lord.
This new release follows in the footsteps of Vertical Worship's legacy of anthems like "Yes I Will", "Spirit of the Living God", and "Found in You". Known for crafting songs that serve the church and foster encounters with God, the Chicago-based collective continues to blend biblically rich lyrics with accessible melodies that resonate across generations.
Formed out of Harvest Bible Chapel, Vertical Worship has spent the past decade equipping worship leaders and churches with songs that are both theologically grounded and emotionally stirring. Their heart remains fixed on leading people into moments of vertical connection-turning hearts and eyes upward to the King.
"Build An Altar (Live)" is available now on all streaming platforms.
