Dorla Schlitt Unveils New Book “The Adventure of the Scarlet Thread” in a Journey Through God’s Eternal Plan of Salvation

Author and educator Dorla Schlitt, wife of John Schlitt, the lead singer of multi-Grammy and Dove Award-winning Christian band, Petra, and acclaimed solo artist, has released her new book, The Adventure of the Scarlet Thread: The Promise Fulfilled. The book is published by Fitting Words and Nana Books.
Dorla Schlitt delights in writing books and educational materials for children, youth, and adults to interact together and grow in their knowledge and faith in Christ Jesus.
She has authored books for publishers such as Lifeway's B&H Publishing and Thomas Nelson Publishers, a subsidiary of HarperCollins Publishers. Her books include Splash, an early childhood curriculum to accompany Max Lucado's The Come Thirsty Church Experience; the six-book series, Celebrate! Teaching Bible Truths Through Arts and Crafts; and The Petra Prayer Warrior Devotional to accompany Petra's album, This Means War!
Dorla and John Schlitt couldn't be more excited about the release of Dorla's new book.
"I am so proud of Dorla!" says John Schlitt. "She is in her element when she is teaching or writing. She's amazing!"
"The Adventure of the Scarlet Thread: The Promise Fulfilled started out as a Vacation Bible School curriculum that I wrote for our church in 1997," says Dorla Schlitt. "As time passed, it sat on my shelf until I was able to work with the material again, and now it has taken the form of a full-color illustrated book for all ages."
"God's love for man and His faithfulness to His Word is one unfolding adventure story!" she muses. "The symbol of the scarlet thread begins in Genesis and weaves through scripture, pointing us toward God's plan of redemption for man through His Son, Jesus, the Savior of the world!"
The Adventure of the Scarlet Thread: The Promise Fulfilled can be purchased on Amazon.com, SchlittShop.com, or wherever books are sold.
