Pastor Greg Laurie Gives Recovery Update: “I’m Not Using a Cane or a Walker”

Pastor Greg Laurie, founder and senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship, has shared encouraging news following his recent hip replacement surgery on August 19.
Laurie reports that the procedure was a success and that his recovery is progressing well. "I'm not using a cane or a walker," Laurie said in a personal update, expressing gratitude for answered prayers and the support of his church community.
The surgery, which his family described as "fast" and "very successful," has already enabled Laurie to resume ministry activities, including preaching sermons and attending a baptism. "God surrounded me with believers every step of the way-from the receptionist and nurses to my doctor and anesthesiologist," Laurie reflected. "It was a reminder that His presence is always with us, even in the hospital."
Now back at home, Laurie is resting, undergoing physical therapy, and continuing to regain strength. He extended heartfelt thanks to all who have lifted him in prayer: "Your prayers mean more than words can say. I am deeply grateful."
Harvest Christian Fellowship invites the public to continue praying for Pastor Laurie's full recovery as he prepares for the upcoming fall ministry season.
