It was six months ago when Nexus 5 was released in public. Compared to Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, Nexus 5 is a little bit expensive. How did it happen? Let's take a look on Nexus 5 a little deeper. Let's see what makes Nexus expensive.
In regards to design and display, the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra has 6 inches IPS LCD touch-screen with 720x1280 pixels. On the other hand, Nexus 5 has 4.95 inches True HD IPS plus capacitive touch screen with 1080x1920 pixels. In this particular category, Nexus 5 is champion between the two of them. For those who are not that very into details, then this explains a lot why Nexus 5 is expensive than Xperia T2 Ultra. Moreover, Nexus 5 is a lot smaller, thinner, and lighter. T2 ultra weighs 171.7 grams while the latter one only weight 130 grams.

Sony Xperia T2 vs. Nexus 5
1. The Xperia T2 Ultra has 1.4GHz quad core Cortex A7 processor with Qualcomm MSM8928 Snapdragon 400 chipset. This comes with 8GB internal memory that can be expanded to 32GB with the use of microSD card.
2. On the other hand, Nexus 5 has 2.3 GHz quad core Krait 400 processor MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset. This comes with 16GB plus 32GB internal memory and no need for microSD slot for additional memory expansion.
3. The Xperia runs on Android Jelly Bean OS, then can be upgraded to KitKat version. While nexus 5 runs on Android KitKat OS already with 2GB Ram.
Again, when it comes to Operating System and hardware Nexus 5 is the winner. These and many reasons are primary basis of why Nexus 5 is expensive compared to Sony Xperia T2 Ultra.
