‘Doctor Who’ Season 8 Trailer Comes Out, Features A Dinosaur and Lot of Explosions
The latest “Doctor Who” season 8 trailer comes out before it gets a UK premiere on August 23.
The 30-second trailer shows off a lot of footages that can be expected by fans to happen during the eight season, states Fandompost. Just like the full length trailer version, it renders a good mix of the serious dialogue throwing and humor bits in it.
The initial idea for the first episode “Deep Breath,” shows the Doctor arriving in Victorian London where he stumbles upon a dinosaur that has gone berserk in Thames along with several explosions in the background.
Hypable adds that the “Doctor Who” season 8 pilot episode will start off under global simulcast and even a cinema screening on August 23. Directed by Ben Wheatley, it also shows the revelation of a new doctor Peter Capaladi and even the comeback of many fan favorite characters, Strax, Jenny and Vastra.
The episode based on the promoted footage gives a hint that it will be connected to the recent seasons of “Doctor Who” which were Moffat-ran. Even the line of Clara which says “You’ve redecorated!” has been taken straight from “The Day of the Doctor” which is the show’s 50th anniversary special, reports Screenrant.
The brand new “Doctor Who” season 8 will feature a lot of the Doctor spending a lot of time dealing with the question of whether he is a good man. This could certainly bring a refreshing twist and render an emotional input to all his crazy misadventures in time and space.
