Seventh Son Release Date, Spoilers and Reveals: Could it be Different from Novel by Delaney, "The Spooks Apprentice?"
Julianne Moore is supposed to take the role of the villain in the most awaited upcoming fantasy film. Apparently, the release date for the movie has been delayed slightly from 24 of February to 26th. This is not the first time that the release date for the anticipated film has been delayed according to various reports. This time it is because Warner Bros ended their partnership with Legendary Pictures. Apparently, the release date for the movie had to change slightly because Universal Pictures had to take over the distribution after entering a new deal with Legendary Pictures. As such, the production release date is hopefully the final one stated.
In this movie, the Ben Barnes plays Tom Ward who is a seventh son of the seventh son. These are people that are destined to fight the forces of evil and protect humanity also called a Spook according to the literary film terms. At the time he is an unsuspecting farmer's boy that does not have any idea about the forces of evil. Jeff Bridges, is Master Gregory who will play the role of his mentor after seeking him out and shows him the path to become a warrior of the light. Apparently, Moore will play the evil Mother Malkin, a powerful witch who was imprisoned by Bridges and has escaped. She is now hell bent on bringing chaos to the world of the living. In the movie, Master Gregory comes off as the jaded knight that seems a bit tired in the war path against evil, so we might see Barnes come in as the possible replacement.
The film is going to be quite intriguing however, for those of us who have already read the book, the Spooks Apprentice, which was written by Joseph Delaney, the end is a bit predictable. There are reports that the movie will have a different as compared to the novel but that remains to be seen.
