John Mayer Concert To Feature NEEDTOBREATHE On July 10 In Bonner Springs, Kansas
NEEDTOBREATHE has announced that they will be performing alongside John Mayer on July 10, at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre in Bonner Springs, Kansas.
The popular Christian band will be joining Mayer on this performance, which is part of his Born and Raised world tour that begins in July. The tour will be promoting his most recent album that was released in January 2012.
Mayer has been recovering from throat surgery to remove a granuloma from above his vocal cords, which had him out of commission for a couple of months, and is now working on his sixth studio album, according to antimusic. "I should be frustrated but I can't seem to stop thinking about beautiful things... I have this beautiful, meaningful record waiting for me when I can sing it," Mayer said in 2011, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Mayer announced his new album on Facebook on May 28 and plans on releasing a new video each Tuesday, in order to chronicle the recording process. This tour also marks the first since his throat surgery.
On June 3, NEEDTOBREATE tweeted, "New Show Announced: We're opening for @JohnMayer 7/10 Bonner Spring, KS Tickets: http://bit.ly/ZHqDN7 #NTBSUMMER."
During the July 10 performance, NEEDTOBREATHE will be promoting music from their last album, 'The Reckoning,' released in 2011, as well as a new EP, entitled, 'Cercas Blancas,' that was released on May 28 and will be followed by a new album in the near future.
