Electronic Arts has announced that the release date for Madden NFL 15 officially for August 26th in North America and August 29th for Europe. The latest EA sports game will be playable on Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, and the Xbox One.
EA wanted to emphasize to fans of the game the improvements of the defensive side of the ball. The company is promises the "most immersive defensive gameplay control in franchise history."
Madden NFL 15 is the 26th title in the popular football sports video game. In June, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman won the right to grace the cover of the game after a 16-player bracket vote that comprised of both offensive and defensive players.
The game was officially announced in detail during the 2014 Electronic Entertainment Expo. EA did not release a demo during E3 and issued a statement to clarify saying, "The difficult decision not to do a demo for Madden was strictly a result of the team's commitment to deliver the highest-quality game possible. We chose to put 100 percent of our development resources toward the full game."
EA Access Twitter account shared that gamers will only have six hours of gameplay before they are cut off. Not just during a demo but for the entire game experience.
EA Access has a $5/month fee or a $30 yearly subscription fee and allows gamers early access to many titles including Madden 15, but FIFA 15, Peggie 2 and Battlefield 4.
