MTV has announced that the second season of the series is back and that the first episode will be aired from today. The network's executives are ready to bring you 12 more episodes of the unending drama.
After being abducted as a young child and reunited with her family as a teenager, the rebellious Carter Stevens has finally carved out a space among her new parents and siblings. However, this does not mean that her story is over. There are 12 more episodes in the series. 'Finding Carter' is a new cable series that mainly attracts an audience of people between 12 to 34 years old. Susanne Daniels who is the President of MTV programming said, "The creative minds behind 'Finding Carter' did an exceptional job bringing this story to life and drawing our audience in. I'm looking forward to another season following Carter on her journey."
'Finding Carter' has also had great success online too as it is the top streamed new series on MTV.com and the MTV app with more than 5 million views. On the first episode tonight, Carter and Taylor will learn about Elizabeth's affair and push her to confess everything, but this might cause more problems than the family can handle.
'Finding Carter' is an unconventional family drama which is mostly centered on Carter. Carter is a teenage girl who thinks she has a perfect life until one night after a police bust at a high school party she is told that the woman who she believed was her biological mother had actually abducted her when she was a toddler. Carter now has to return to the family that had lost her. As she tries to get used to brand-new parents, a twin sister, high school and boys, she vows to find Lori, her kidnapper, before the police capture the only mum she's ever known and put her behind bars.
