SpongeBob Movie 2 Release Date: Paramount Announced another Adventure in Bikini Bottom This 2014

This 2014, the market has being flooded with too many movies to be released this year and even next year and a year after that. However, nothing compares to the excitement and 'kiddie' feeling upon hearing that SpongeBob will be having its second installment this year. This movie is a well-deserved movie!

The Paramount already announced that they will be releasing another movie for SpongeBob Squarepants this year, 2014. The Viacom's Studio Parent Company CEO and President Philippe Dauman revealed this upcoming movie to reporters and sources: "We will be releasing a SpongeBob movie at the end of 2014, which will serve to start off or be one of our films that starts off our new animation effort."

However, their Dreamworks contract has already ended. Hence, they are also thinking if they will renew their contract or just handle the production on their own. In addition to this, they have also started with Rango which is also a great movie with excellent and positive reviews gathered from viewers. Aside from that, Rango got Oscar as fort the best Animated Feature year 2014. Well, this is not a bad start for them afterall. Hence, they are looking forward as well as expecting that they can get same result or more from this SpongeBob Squarepants upcoming movie.

Last 2004, SpongeBob Squarepants Movie had about $85 million locally. However, Dauman has able to maintain the brand and did not have much global presence. If you miss SpongeBob and Patrick tandem as well as the other characters in SpongeBob Squarepants then this is the high time to wait and meet the most energetic and hilarious characters in SpongeBob!
