The movie Journey has come to its success for it will soon release another sequel of their fictional adventure movie. Yes, you read it right. Journey will soon release its 3^rd version of their movie. The movie series had definitely got the attention of movie fanatics. It was said from a well - known that the movie is prepared to be release in 2016 yet no exact date was discussed in the said announcement.

The first sequel of the said movie series was aired last 11^th of July 2008. It was titled "Journey to the Center of The Earth 3-D" starring Josh Hutcherson as "Sean Anderson", Brendan Fraser as "Professor Trevor Anderson" and Anita Briem as Hannah Asgeirsson. It garnered a box office hit of over $241 million; obviously, it was warmly acknowledge and was favored by millions of people. Hence, in 2012 Producers, Beau Flynn, Tripp Vinson and Charlotte Huggins with the production of New Line Cinema, had released another awaited version of the said movie series. In January 19, 2012 Journey 2: The Mysterious Island was released in Australia followed on the 11^th of February same year 2012 it was out in The United States of America. Aside from the plot of the story, it was also a big hit because of the added casts and celebrities who became the main character of the story. Dwayne Johnson as "Hank Parsons" became the stepfather of "Sean Anderson" (Josh Hutcherson) and adding Vanessa Hudgens as "Kailani Laguatan" that eventually became Sean's love interests. As said the additional popular celebrities added a spark to this movie series and it earned over $315 million box office hit. Imagine that kind of money; it was definitely a big hit.

Though the 3^rd sequel of the movie Journey is not yet to be announced, a lot of fans out there is surely waiting for Journey 3: From the Earth to the Moon. And just to be clear, it was said from a well - known source that the writers of the 3^rd sequel was announced to be Carey Hayes and Chad Hayes and that, it was planned that the movie will be released in the year of 2016.
