Rise of the Tomb Raider Release Date, Spoilers, Reveals and Rumors: Exclusivity to X Box One and X Box 360 for Primary Release
The rise of the tomb raider is the sequel to the Tomb Raider reboot game which was released sometime in 2013 and was developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by the well known Square Enix. At the present, the release date for the game has been timed for Holiday December which is to say sometime from October to December next year. It was first announced at Gamescom, that the rise of the tomb raider would be exclusive to the X Box genre, but the fans still wanted to know whether this was a timed release concerning both X Box One and X Box 360. This would allow the game to come to the other platforms after the debut next year.
Of course, some of the fans were not exactly amused when they heard that they would not be able to play the sequel of the 2013 game on PS4 or PS3. X Box executive Phil Spencer said in a statement "I knew there would be some pushback when we came out," Apparently, "It comes from a space where there's an opportunity that maps really well with what we need in terms of the genre, and a partner that's looking for partnership." As far as we know at the present, there is not much more information about the Rise of the Tomb Raider, except from the fact that it is exclusive only to X Box and that is what everybody seems to be focusing on concerning the game.
On the other hand, we do know that the story is going to pick up from where it last left off. The first adventure illustrated Lara Croft's introduction as the protagonist of the story, but the next chapter features her getting into gear to show her survival skills and wit the best way that she knows how to. The fans are sure to get some high octane action and out of this world graphics for the next game release.
