The Order: 1886 Release Date, Reveals, Plot, Rumors and Review: Game Play Trailer Revealed by Sony at Gamescom
The Order: 1886 is a game which is based on an alternate history of England, considering a team of knights that keep the people safe from marauding blood sucking monsters that roam the streets of London. Apparently, the battle for the mankind's salvation has been raging for centuries and upon, February 20th this year; people will get to join in the fun. The game will be available for PS4 exclusively according to the latest reports as yet. At the Gamescom event that happened last week, Sony Entertainment revealed a new trailer for the upcoming title. This featured the variety of weapons available as well as a narration from Nikola Tesla.
In this brand new trailer we get to see the hype concerning the guns as well as other weapons and other weapons which are featured in the new game is definitely on point. According to the developers, the story shows Tesla as a sort of Da Vinci, a genius of his time. Apparently, the genius of his inventions is used as a basis for many of the weapons and devices that the player uses in the game. This inclusion of Tesla into the story is a creative way of integrating the real figures into our realm especially when it comes to creating a fictional universe.
In the trailer's narration he talks about how he feels like a tool that has been used by the Order for centuries in their war against the beasts. He says that he has been helping them by building weapons to work against the forces of darkness. Some of the weapons that are shown in the trailer created by Tesla are conventional like rifles, submachine guns and shotguns. Tesla may have invented some of these before their time, but the developers could have added a bit of creativity to the plot by giving him props of inventing some really ground braking technology. Similarly, the game has an ominous tone especially when Tesla suggests that the weapons he invents may actually help man destroy himself through greed and corruption.
